Today, one if our friends from last year who is now in Grade One, came to our class to share a book she made about leaves! It sparked a huge interest about leaves in our class. These are questions that our jk/sk friends asked her:
2. Why do leaves die in snow? "That's kind of the same question as the last one," replies our special visitor.
3. Why do leaves change colour?
We have decided to do a leaf study to find out these answers. Please collect different kinds of leaves at home and bring to school!
