Today Mrs. Shepley and the children planted one of our Sunflower plants into the soil outside our classroom window. We are hoping it grows tall enough so the children can see it through the window. They discussed the difference between living and non-living things. Mrs. Shepley challenged the children to find living things and non living things on the playground.
The children are looking for non-living things. They found rocks, a bench, the concrete, and the brick wall.
Kody found a living thing, a plant growing in the garden next to the playground.
