Spheres!!

We have been looking all over for spheres in the classroom and around the school!!

Our head is a sphere!!  We love the orange hair for black and orange day!!

We found spheres in our lunches!  We took a survey and asked the children who had a sphere in their lunch today.  Most children did not have a sphere.  3 friends had apples and 1 friend had a lollipop!!  We thought of other foods that were shaped like a sphere.  They came up with plums, oranges, peaches, lemons, and tomatoes!! 

We played with spheres at the blocks.  The children made ramps and one group created a golf course.

We played with balls (spheres) in the gym.  They discovered that spheres can roll, spin, and bounce.  They are not flat like a circle!!
