Our Presention!

Today we went to the gym for a presentation about making a difference.  One person can make a difference!  Two people can change the world!  We talked about caring, sharing and giving!  We did a lot of dancing and had a hip hop class at the end!  

Worms

Painting to music!

The children are listening to music and painting a picture of how the music makes them feel!  

Colour Shades!

After noticing the paints at the easel are different colours this week, we discussed shades.  Below one friend is experimenting with making different shades of purple.  If I add white, it gets lighter but if I add more purple it gets darker!  

Worms and Mud!

We were outside playing today and we noticed all of the mud and water.  One of our friends spotted worms and started picking them up.  We put them in a container to bring into the classroom and observe them!  We have mud and "worms" in our sensory bin too!

Mmmm Waffles!

Today we made waffles in the classroom. We measured the ingredients and talked about how the waffles would cook. The children enjoyed watching them cook in our waffle makers.  The children agreed that eating the waffles was the best part of the activity!

The waffle maker is being closed to cook the waffle.

"Waffles are yummy, especially with syrup!"

Everyone enjoyed the our special waffle lunch!

The Three Billy Goats Gruff!

After reading the fairy tale The Three Billy Goats Gruff, we used props to set up a stage and acted it out.  We had a narrator, actors and friends who added music for when they were trip trapping across bridge.
