Wow! That's expensive!

Some children made their own money today for the fruit and vegetable stand.  Kadence is buying the cabbage for $5.00.

Fruit and Vegetables!

We had our Fruit and Vegetable Feast today!   Wow!  Thank you very much for the generous donations!  Abbey introduced us to 2 new fruits that many have never seen before.  The dragon fruit and star fruit.  She told us that the star fruit is very sour! We waited until the end of the day to taste them!  One friend said that the cantelope was good.  They had never tried it before!

Morning Routines

Every morning our students have "jobs" to complete. They must unpack their backpacks, put lunches away and hand in note totes. Then they practice their names by signing a survey and practicing on a chalk board. Then they choose an activity to work on, these activities are designed to align with curriculum expectations.

Signing the survey.

Guessing what is in the "Feely" can and drawing it.

Practice writing name.

Colour matching and drawing.

Putting lunches on the shelf.

Putting note tote into the bin.

Classroom Survey!

One of the jobs that the children need to do each morning is to answer the survey question.  This morning the question asked if they had the letter " a" in their name.  They are doing a great job signing their name under the last name like a " list."  Ashley created her own classroom survey.  She was asking friends if they wanted to come to her house for a Halloween party!
