Morning Routines
Every morning our students have "jobs" to complete. They must unpack their backpacks, put lunches away and hand in note totes. Then they practice their names by signing a survey and practicing on a chalk board. Then they choose an activity to work on, these activities are designed to align with curriculum expectations.

Classroom Survey!
One of the jobs that the children need to do each morning is to answer the survey question. This morning the question asked if they had the letter " a" in their name. They are doing a great job signing their name under the last name like a " list." Ashley created her own classroom survey. She was asking friends if they wanted to come to her house for a Halloween party!

Roadside Fruit and Vegetable Stand!
The children are searching through grocery store flyers for fruits and vegetables to sell at their stand! We have a Fruit and Vegetable Roadside Stand in our classroom right now too!
It's Fall Time!
Our friends have discovered our sensory table full of fall items. It looks like the squirrel is busy collecting nuts and hiding them in the leaves!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!
Today the children retold the story using a "tree" that we borrowed from the library. The whole alphabet ended up in the tree and they all fell out. The children had to collect their letter after it fell out of the tree just like the mommas and papas and uncles and aunts did in the story! We also sang along to the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom song, here is the link:
